Seditionist and Oil Shill Congressman Pfluger tweeted in favor of human rights abuse.
August Pfluger, seditionist and oil and gas shill, posted on Twitter today, “Instead of securing the border, the Biden Administration is spending their time trying to strike policies that actually work.” The “policies” he was referring to were Trump’s awful “Remain in Mexico” policy.
Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy was xenophobic, inhumane, and caused a human rights crisis that the rest of the world has shamed.
Because of Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy, it’s estimated that as many as 80% of asylum seekers have been kidnapped, raped, extorted, or trafficked by Cartels while awaiting entry into the United States.
This is not a disputed fact by ANYONE.
Everyone who knows the ACTUAL situation at the border knows that the “Remain in Mexico policy” was terrible and only appealed to the most racist of American voters. As an elected official, August Pfluger should know these things, too.
The “Remain in Mexico” policy put thousands of asylum seekers’ lives at risk, which happened with the knowledge of both the United States and Mexican governments. Human Rights organizations around the world rang alarm bells about these dangers.
That’s the reason why President Joe Biden signed an executive order on the first day of office, ending Trump’s immigration policies.
Yet, as the battle goes on between the Republican Party, which has now seemingly openly embraced xenophobia, racism, human rights abuses, and the rest of the critical thinking world, August Pfluger has planted his flag in the sand to let everyone know where he stands.
Today on Twitter, August Pfluger said: “Instead of securing the border, the Biden Administration is spending their time trying to strike policies that actually work.”
He meant “Remain in Mexico,” the policy under in which 80% of asylum seekers have been kidnapped, raped, extorted, or trafficked by Cartels.
August Pfluger said on Twitter that a policy which 80% of asylum seekers have been raped, kidnapped, extorted, or trafficked is a “policy that works.“
Works for who?
When a vast majority of asylum seekers are experiencing human rights abuses; who does that work for? Because it doesn’t work for them, it doesn’t work for me, and it doesn’t work for the Americans left who have any degree of empathy or morality.
Elected officials in Congress know what’s going on at the border. They’ve seen the human rights reports. August Pfluger knows the truth. Yet, he tweeted in favor of the worst.
