Tune in every Wednesday for our new weekly podcast which focuses on Texas politics.
In our gerrymandered state, where the culture wars are raging and Texas Republicans have designated themselves the warriors of liberty, the Living Blue in Texas Podcast will be your voice of sanity.
From the governor’s office to the bills moving through Texas legislator, and directly to your city council, we’ll cover it. You can expect to hear guests every week, including elected officials, candidates, activists, journalists, and academics, who will provide insight on the latest from El Paso to Brownsville.
The Living Blue in Texas Podcast will be hosted by Michelle H. Davis, the editor of Living Blue in Texas.
And co-hosted by Jeff Quiggle, Communications Director for the Collin County Democratic Party, and Vice President, Plano Area Democrats.
The Living Blue in Texas Podcast’s first episode will be aired on Wednesday 3/10.
You’ll be able to find it here on LivingBlueTX.com, Apple Podcast, Google Play Music, Spotify, and Podbean.
Joe Jaworski, candidate for Attorney General will be joining us for a Q&A session on March 10th.
Joe Jaworski is the grandson of former Watergate special prosecutor, Leon Jaworski, an attorney, the former mayor of Galveston, and is now running for Attorney General of Texas.
In Texas, too many of our public officials think they are above the law. The tearing down of our institutions has led us to lose faith in our democracy. We need someone who can restore integrity to public service in Texas. Someone who chooses right over wrong. Someone who will use our legal system to fight for fairness and justice.
“No one–absolutely no one–is above the law”Joe Jaworski
Don’t forget to tune in on March 10th and every Wednesday after.
