Kyle Biedermann may be the dumbest state legislator we have.
Texas House District 73 Representative Kyle Biedermann posted an old tired argument on social media this morning. Although, in Texas, we’ve heard this song and dance before, Biedermann put some extra ideocracy in it.
He started out with, “the federal government is out of control and doesn’t represent the values of Texans.”
Since the current federal government is headed by the racist Trump administration, we actually agree that the racist and white supremacist values they have shown in the last four years doesn’t represent the values of Texans.
He doesn’t make it clear, but he was insinuating the future Biden administration.
Although the Biden administration is not in charge of the federal government yet. How stupid is he? He is saying that the future federal government is out of control and the future federal government doesn’t represent Texans.
We were unaware of Representative Biedermann’s side job as a fortune teller.
However, since he has now outed himself as someone who can see the future, I suggest if there are questions you want to know about your future, you email him at email@example.com.
I emailed him my own question about finding love in 2021.
I am anxious to learn what he says. (I’ll keep y’all updated)
His social media post went on…
“That is why I am committing to file legislation this session that will allow a referendum to give Texans a vote for the State of Texas to reassert its status as an independent nation.”
Y’all heard that right. Biedermann wants to leave America and he wants to take us all with him. At this point, it is safe to call Biedermann both un-American and unpatriotic.
This is what the legal people call sedition. Yes, it’s treasonous, and a growing fad among Texas Republicans.
The Supreme Court ruled on this a century ago: “When, therefore, Texas became one of the United States, she entered into an indissoluble relation. All the obligations of perpetual union, and all the guaranties of republican government in the Union, attached at once to the State. The act which consummated her admission into the Union was something more than a compact; it was the incorporation of a new member into the political body. And it was final. The union between Texas and the other States was as complete, as perpetual, and as indissoluble as the union between the original States. There was no place for reconsideration or revocation, except through revolution or through consent of the States.” Texas v. White
Texas has tried this before.
It’s never worked out before, what makes Kyle Biedermann think it will work out now?
More so, how do you think his supporters will feel when they find out that leaving the union would mean new state income taxes, as well as losing our military bases, VA, and federal disaster relief?
They probably wouldn’t like it much.
But in typical snowflake fashion, they didn’t win, so now they want to take their ball and go home.
There is no way in hell this would happen.
Since, it’s been tried in Texas a billion times before, it’s just posturing from Kyle Biedermann. He hasn’t actually filed any bills about it yet, just made a social media post.
He could have saved himself a lot of energy by summarizing his intent and posting, “I’m a fucking idiot.”
If you live in HD73, we suggest you contact Biedermann’s office and let him know how stupid he is. And if you live in HD73 OR anywhere else, you should contact him about reading your future.
